Bio
The ever elusive Mr Bigfoot are a Teesside based alternative rock band consisting of spaced out lead lines with thick fuzzy rhythm sections, overlaid with harmonious vocal melody, ready to delve into an aggressive fit of screeching and screaming songs about feeling sad and scary dentists. With emphatic songs about the struggles of getting out of bed in the morning and feeling that life is being wasted, Mr Bigfoot aims to put an anthem to the millennial struggle.
The band has released 2 EPs as well as 2 singles and have gained over 10,000 streams worldwide. The bands second EP was an experimental take on their existing songs during the pandemic lockdowns. As a way to stand out from the acoustic bedroom productions that were being released at the time, the band created a short video game starring themselves; complete with a fully realised chip-tune soundtrack, which is available to stream.
Jumping off the back of a successful single launch for the song, “Wasted”, hosted at The Green Room in Stockton, Mr Bigfoot released their second “regular” EP titled “Mr Bigfoot II” (in classic Zeppelin fashion) on the 8th of November 2024. The new EP is a return to a more raw yet professional sound for the band and has been done completely DIY with home studio mixing.
They have played venues small and large, playing charity shows for Cancer Research UK and in support of Pride and the LGBTQIA+ community at the westgarth in Middlesbrough; as well as playing the Georgian Theatre during the Stockton International Riverside Festival.

“Mr Bigfoot shows off a more evolved and mature sound, mixing the increasingly popular shoegaze genre with grunge revival to create a smashing pumpkins type sound to some of their tracks, while abrasive vocals keep the band still very Kurt Cobain”
